Factory setup

A method for testing a production chain without copying a version-specific build.

Name the chain before you build it

Write down the product, required inputs, transformation step, and output you want to observe. Keep recipe names and quantities tied to your own save or a reviewed record.

  • What must enter the chain?
  • Which step turns an input into an output?
  • What observation would confirm a bottleneck?

Test one limiting step

Watch for stock, machine time, or staff coverage running short. Change one part of the setup and record what changed, when you tested it, and which step moved.

Keep the result scoped

A community recipe lead can help you form a question, but it does not establish a current-build production rate. Do not turn one save into a universal layout.

Preserve one candidate chain with its build context and evidence path before writing a concrete factory example.
